Being a woman, what multivitamins should I take?

Women’s health issues can easily be prevented by taking an adequate amount of nutrients each day. A woman needs to take minerals, antioxidants, folic acid, alpha lipoic acid and vitamins in order to help with onset of osteoporosis and cancer.

Magnesium and calcium play an important role of absorbing calcium into bones. It is absorbed better when Vitamin D3 is present. 99% of calcium is present in bones and teeth while only 1% is found in body fluids and cells. The calcium in blood usually comes from bones, so eating calcium rich food can help to restore calcium amounts that have used via bones. Lack of calcium increases high risk for pregnancy.

Osteoporosis remains a major concern amongst women these days. The amount of calcium supplement is very low and women can fall victims to Osteoporosis in their early thirties. Once calcium is leached from our bones, this disease cannot be revoked. So women need a vitamin supplement in order to help prevent Obstetrics. Taking calcium supplements is the best answer. However, you need to be careful when choosing supplements for your body. If it is formulated a wrong combination then this will further calcify into your body, leading to complications like kidney stones. Therefore, it is important to make sure your supplement is one of the best multivitamins.
